Leveling A Card
When you look at a card, you will notice it has a level on it. All cards start at level 1, and they increase as you experience to it. This can be done with two different enhancement types. This requires gil to do, and the initial requirement is extremely low starting. As more levels are added on, the amount of gil required increases(an extra flat enhancement cost based on level, plus the normal amount required). Once you reach the mid 40's this cost can become quite large, up to 10k or more initial cost, plus the extra for the cards. For this reason, once you reach level 30+ you should wait to get at least 5 or more cards before you try enhancing, ideally 10 if you can(unless you will more than max the card out with 10)
Benefits of Enhancing
Enhancing a card gives a few bonuses. Firstly, the cards stats will improve. The attack and defense will increase with diminishing returns as the card levels higher. The majority of the stat increases will occur within the first 2/3rds of the cards max level range. Also, when the card reaches maximum level, the card will release a material that you can use on a card.
Normal Enhancement

| Enhance Screen |
When using regular cards, the best time to use them is both early on and only using normals. The amount of extra experience added from using NN's or higher is very little, and for NN cards they are worth more selling than using for enhancing. Gil is hard to come in the world of Deity Wars(although the current event is giving out quite a lot). 10 cards will get you through the first 10 levels. 10 more cards will get you 5 more levels, and another 10 will get you 5 more. After level 20, 10 cards will only get you 3 or so levels. After level 30, Expect only about 1 level for 10 cards. From level 30 on, use Kujata cards, which is in the next section.
Special Enhancement

| A Kujata Card |
Kujata are used in special enhancement. There are currently 4 kujata, ranging from NN to SR. King Kujata(SR) are very rare to come by, being an extremely rare drop only in Rare Raid CP packs. Baby Kujata(NN) are worth about 2 levels early on, and by level 40 they are only worth about one third of a level. Work to save up a 5 or so Kujata to enhance at once. If you have one level to go, one normal R Kujata will get you the last level needed.
